Plasma cladding uses a compressed electric arc as its heat source, with a temperature range concentrated between 18,000 and 24,000 K (Kelvin), equivalent to approximately 17,727-23,727°C. This extreme high temperature can instantly melt all known metallic materials, achieving highly efficient cladding.
