Compared to plasma cladding, laser cladding delivers less heat input and a smaller heat-affected zone on the workpiece. This makes our equipment especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials and thin-walled parts. We have a process laboratory in Nantong that offers free sample testing. Adjustable Spot Size and Low Dilution Rate

 

The spot diameter on this equipment is adjustable between 2.0 and 6.0 millimeters. The single-pass cladding width ranges from 6 to 14 millimeters, with a dilution rate of only 4% to 8%. This is significantly lower than traditional arc cladding methods. Lower dilution means you use less alloy powder to achieve the same surface performance, saving you money on expensive powder materials. The machine stores 30 process programs, making it suitable for flexible production with multiple varieties and small batches. The fixture supports workpieces up to 600 kilograms, handling medium-sized shafts and disc-type components. Our R&D team can customize the processing path based on your workpiece geometry to ensure even cladding on complex curved surfaces. This flexibility is a key benefit of the LMD Machine.
