DMD Machine

Our DMD Machine uses Direct Metal Deposition technology, which belongs to the same family as LMD but focuses more on precision repair and thin-wall structure manufacturing. The laser output power ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 watts, with a powder feed rate of 0.3 to 2.0 kilograms per hour. The spot diameter is adjustable between 1.0 and 3.0 millimeters. This unit is a precision system particularly suitable for local mold repairs, turbine blade tip restoration, and surface modification of thin-walled parts. We have 11 years of experience in metal surface strengthening technology. Our equipment has been successfully applied in the repair workshops of many precision manufacturing companies since its launch.

Ultra-Low Dilution for Near-Nondestructive Repair

 

The single-layer cladding thickness on this machine is only 0.15 to 0.6 millimeters. The dilution rate is as low as 2% to 5%, which represents the lowest dilution range among all our laser cladding equipment. This means it achieves near-nondestructive precision repair. The original dimensions and base material properties of the workpiece are largely preserved. The minimum workpiece outer diameter that this unit can process is 15 millimeters, making it suitable for micro-precision components. The maximum workpiece load capacity is 150 kilograms, allowing easy integration into precision machining cells.
